Hi. I’m John Mason of RiskPortal. I run an independent risk management consultancy, Risk Portal, located in the Hampshire, UK, but with European experience and dedicated to helping you maximise your risk management effectiveness in an uncertain world. I have fifteen years Risk and project experience, and considerable knowledge of operational risk management, enterprise risk management, and implementing risk management frameworks. With an MSc in Corporate Risk and Security Management, I’m currently working in the financial services sector to develop Risk Profiles and Risk Scorecards incorporating information from risk event analysis, key risk scenario planning, and risk and control assessments. I enjoy working with both senior management and staff to ensure risks are actively managed not simply reported. I chose the name Risk Insights for my personal risk blog because effective risk management is about gaining insight into the uncertainties that may impact each and every organisation.
